The Common Good?
Even if I have a few conservative values (freedom), overall I consider myself rather moderate. This means I should generally like--no, make that dislike--both Democrats and Republicans equally. And generally that's true.
But Hillary is different; she raises my hackles. I despise her Robin Hood approach to government (sorry I couldn't find a better link, no time):
She's all about tax and entitlement; personal responsibility be damned. And with that kind of track record, I truly hope lefter leaning moderates than myself will have a hard time voting for her. But stranger things have happened.
"Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you," she said at a fund-raiser for radical Sen. Barbara Boxer."We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good," the former first lady admitted.
So you can imagine how spirit raising it is to hear Carl Bernstein--a die hard Democrat--will have a book about Hillary published June 19th.
Drawing on a trove of private papers from Hillary Clinton’s best friend, the legendary Watergate journalist Carl Bernstein is to publish a hard-hitting and intimate portrait of the 2008 presidential candidate, which will reveal a number of “discrepancies” in her official story.
The book could revive the explosive charge, made earlier this year by David Geffen, a former Clinton donor and Hollywood mogul, that “the Clintons lie with such ease, it’s troubling”.

I think--I hope--she's unelectable. My prophesy: Obama vs Giuliani. I despise them equally.

Funny you mention her. I was watching Bill Moyers's Selling of The War. There was a great clip of her making the case for the invasion of iraq. Disgusting. I'm hoping for Richardson Vs.Guliani.
